Touchstone Assistant Coach - Sacramento Pipeworks
About The Position
Sacramento Pipeworks is looking for an Assistant Comp Team Coach. This role requires experience in bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing, with a sound understanding of climbing techniques such as footwork, body positioning, movement efficiency, and route reading. The ideal candidate has the patience and passion for working with children of various ability levels and learning styles, bringing a creative and fun approach to climbing instruction and curriculum to make learning enjoyable and engaging. This position is interested in creating high-quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone and is excited to collaborate with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for our climbers.
Requirements
- Experienced in bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing.
- Sound understanding of climbing techniques such as footwork, body positioning, movement efficiency, and route reading.
- Patience and passion for working with kids at a variety of ability levels and learning styles.
- Creative, fun approach to climbing instruction and curriculum.
- Interest in creating high quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone.
- Excited to collaborate with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for our climbers.
Responsibilities

- Developing and implementing creative and fun climbing instruction and curriculum.
- Creating high-quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone.
- Collaborating with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for climbers.
