Touchstone Assistant Coach - The Studio
About The Position
The Studio is looking for an Assistant Comp Team Coach with experience in bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of climbing techniques such as footwork, body positioning, movement efficiency, and route reading. This role requires patience and passion for working with children of various ability levels and learning styles, bringing a creative and fun approach to climbing instruction and curriculum development. The Assistant Coach will be interested in creating high-quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone and will collaborate with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for climbers.
Requirements
- Experienced in bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing.
- Sound understanding of climbing techniques such as footwork, body positioning, movement efficiency, and route reading.
- Patience and passion for working with kids at a variety of ability levels and learning styles.
- Creative, fun approach to climbing instruction and curriculum.
- Interest in creating high quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone.
- Excited to collaborate with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for our climbers.
Responsibilities
- Instructing and coaching climbing techniques (bouldering, top rope, lead climbing).
- Developing and implementing creative and engaging climbing curriculum for children.
- Creating high-quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone.
- Collaborating with other coaches to ensure an exceptional team experience.
