About The Position

Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a full-time contractual exempt Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach position to begin in August 2026. The starting Base Annual Salary is approximately $44,948, which is pro-rated based on the contract term. FSU boasts 25 varsity sports (11 men/14 women) at the NCAA Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference. The Frostburg Team claimed its first Event National Championship in 2023.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching or other related work experience.
• Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree and/or two years of coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with the coaching and supervision of the women’s wrestling team, including teaching and developing athletic skills, evaluating both team and individual performance, and contributing to match strategy development.
• Support the academic success of student-athletes by monitoring progress and providing guidance as needed.
• Actively participate in the recruitment, evaluation, and mentoring of prospective and current student-athletes.
• Contribute to overall program operations and perform other related duties as assigned.
