About The Position

Eagle Ridge Academy seeks an Assistant Coach, Track and Field, serving as the throwers coach. The position directs, supports, and fully implements the assigned high school activity program using an education-based philosophy of teaching and coaching. The coach instructs participants in the fundamental skills and strategies of the activity to help them achieve individual and team success. The season runs from March through June, with camp and clinic opportunities in other seasons. A stipend is available, and a background check is required. Eagle Ridge Academy is a tuition-free classical, college-preparatory charter school serving students in grades K–12. Requirements

Proven knowledge and experience necessary to coach the activity.
Good communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Ability to work with middle school and high school aged students while modeling positive character and responsible behavior.
Background check required.
