About The Position
Acts as assistant to the Head Women's Basketball Coach. This role involves assisting with team practice sessions and game contests, instructing team members in game strategies and techniques, and counseling student athletes concerning their academic progress. Additionally, the position assists in public relations and fund-raising activities, and completes related duties as required or directed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least two years of collegiate women’s basketball coaching experience or four years of combined experience in collegiate basketball playing and/or collegiate basketball manager experience required
- Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference and the University of Northern Iowa
Nice To Haves
- Division I or II experience preferred
- Student or volunteer experience will be considered
