About The Position
Portsmouth High School is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Girls Soccer team for the 2026-2027 Fall season. The season is expected to run from approximately August 17, 2026, to November 15, 2026, with a potential for extension. This is a stipend position.
Requirements
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching (includes RIIL Rules and Regulations Test)
- Valid First Aid certification (renew every 2 years)
- Valid CPR certification (renew every 2 years) - IN PERSON ONLY
- NFHS Concussion certification (renew annually)
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest certification (renew annually)
- NFHS Protecting Students from Abuse certification
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching the Girls Soccer team during the fall season.
- Ensure athletes have the required coaching certifications.
- Manage team activities within the specified season dates.
