About The Position
Portsmouth Middle School is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Girls Soccer team for the 2026-2027 school year. The fall season typically runs from August 24, 2026, to November 1, 2026, with a potential for extension. This is a stipend position.
Requirements
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching (includes RIIL Rules and Regulations Test)
- Valid First Aid certification (renew every 2 years)
- Valid CPR certification (in-person only, renew every 2 years)
- NFHS Concussion certification (renew annually)
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest certification (renew annually)
- NFHS Protecting Students from Abuse certification
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching the Girls Soccer team during the fall season.
- Ensure athletes adhere to school policies and athletic department rules.
- Support the head coach in all aspects of team management and development.
