About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Coach for Girl's Flag Football. The role requires the individual to be a credible Christian role model, support the school's Statement of Faith and Christian Conduct, and be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church. The coach must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, parents, and students, and demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills. The role also requires the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and follow directions. A positive work ethic, self-motivation, creativity, and strategic thinking are essential. The coach must understand the importance of academic disciplines and maintain consistent attendance at practices and games. Flexibility and adaptability to change are also important. The position requires a basic knowledge of flag football rules and fundamentals, effective coaching techniques, and the successful completion of specific NFHS courses and other required trainings.

Requirements

Must be a born-again Christian.
Must be a credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Bible.
Must be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church.
Must have sufficient health and physical endurance to be able to complete the assigned responsibilities.
Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to work well independently, manage time well, and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.
Ability to work efficiently and quickly under pressure.
Has a positive attitude toward work ethic, learning and development.
Self-motivated, creative, innovative, and strategic thinking ability.
Ability to work well with children of various ages.
Understands the importance of academic disciplines and issues.
Consistent, reliable attendance at practices, games, and other events.
Flexible and adaptive to change.
High School Diploma
Basic knowledge of rules and fundamentals for sport
Successful completion of NFHS “Fundamental of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses
First Aid/CPR Certificate.
TB clearance within the last four years.
Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance.
Mandated Reporter Training Course
Sexual Harassment Training Course
Other trainings as assigned

Previous coaching experience at middle school or higher level preferred.
