This position is responsible for assisting the head coach with operating the lacrosse program to the standards of University of the Cumberlands as well as the NAIA. Requirements
- Assisting the head coach with operating the lacrosse program to the standards of University of the Cumberlands as well as the NAIA
Responsibilities
- Recruiting qualified student-athletes
- Monitoring academic progress of current student-athletes
- Managing retention of current student-athletes
- Providing instruction on skills/strategies used during practice/competition
- Developing practice plans
- Breaking down film of practices and games
- Scouting of opponents
- Overseeing work study positions
- Developing itineraries for team trips
- Contacting restaurants/food vendors
- Procuring buses/vans for team trips
- Contacting hotels for team trips
- Managing an inventory of all items related to the lacrosse program
- Being involved in the overall management and operation of team budget
- Performing other duties as the athletic administration sees necessary
