About The Position
Assists the Director of Track and Field/Cross Country in the administration and leadership of the Radford University Division I Cross Country and Track and Field Program by providing coaching and instruction, recruiting, and facilitation of training and practice activities. This is a temporary/restricted position with an end date of June 24, 2027.
Requirements
- Coaching and/or recruiting experience in track & field at the collegiate level.
- Ability to demonstrate and teach advanced skills, knowledge, and strategies related to the jumping and combined events
- Knowledge of NCAA recruiting and compliance procedures
- Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment as to the manner and method of teaching
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
