Cheer, Assistant Coach
About The Position
Warren Consolidated Schools is seeking applicants for the Assistant Coach Cheer position at Cousino High School for the 2026-2027 school year. This vacancy is for the Fall season and is contingent upon need and athlete participation. Applicants must demonstrate experience and training relevant to cheer coaching. Additionally, applicants should have completed a first aid course or be willing to complete one. As per Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) requirements starting the 2024-2025 school year, all coaches must be CPR certified before beginning their coaching assignment. A copy of the CPR card must be on file with the Human Resources Department and meet MHSAA and MDE requirements.
Requirements
- Evidence of experience and training for cheer coaching.
- Completion of a first aid course or willingness to take one.
- CPR certified prior to starting a coaching assignment (MHSAA requirement for 2024-2025 and beyond).
- A copy of the CPR card must be on file in the Human Resources Department and meet MHSAA and MDE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coach cheerleading activities.
