About The Position

Skidmore College's Athletics and Recreation Department invites applicants for a full-time, regular (10 month) M/W Swimming Assistant Coach Position. Responsibilities will include assisting the Head M/W Swimming & Diving Coach in planning, organizing, and implementing aspects of a Division III men's and women's swimming program including practice and meet preparation, on-deck coaching, team travel, recruitment of prospective student-athletes, fund raising and other duties as assigned. The position will also include serving as a physical activities course instructor and equipment room responsibilities during the academic year.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent
• A minimum of three years collegiate swimming coaching and/or competitive experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Current CPR and AED Certification

Nice To Haves

• Lifeguard Certification or willingness to obtain
• WSI Certification or willingness to obtain
