About The Position

The Assistant Club Manager (ACM) is the driving force behind the club’s daily operations, membership growth, and team performance. Working hand-in-hand with the General Manager, you are a core leader responsible for fostering an inclusive environment, driving sales results, and ensuring every member who walks through our doors experiences world-class customer service. This is a high-impact leadership role that blends operational excellence, business development, and a passion for people.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Minimum age of 18.
CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
1–2 years of management or supervisory experience in a fitness, retail, or hospitality environment.
A documented history of achieving sales/performance goals and leading high-performing teams.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

A degree in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training a diverse, high-performing club staff.
Provide ongoing coaching, huddles, and performance evaluations to ensure team growth and accountability.
Oversee the membership sales process from initial inquiry to closing.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets to ensure the club meets or exceeds its revenue goals.
Manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal floor coverage.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized club environment through regular walkthroughs.
Support administrative functions like payroll processing and reporting.
Assume full leadership responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager.
Resolve member inquiries and concerns with a professional, solution-oriented approach.
Foster a welcoming culture that drives community engagement and supports local marketing outreach.
