The College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CONHS) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) is seeking a non-tenure track Assistant Clinical Professor and Program Coordinator for the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Program. This 9-month academic appointment, with a possible summer appointment, begins as early as Spring 2027 and is located on the Corpus Christi campus. Faculty are expected to be physically present on campus as needed to support the academic mission. The role requires expertise in Medical Laboratory Science with strong teaching and program leadership experience. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining program quality and effectiveness, ensuring compliance with NAACLS standards, developing and sustaining affiliations with regional healthcare institutions, and leading continuous program improvement. Faculty duties include teaching students, mentoring, advising, recruiting, and maintaining content expertise. Responsibilities also involve active participation in College and University committees and activities. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate MLS lecture and laboratory courses, lead curriculum development, oversee accreditation, coordinate clinical education, foster relationships with healthcare organizations, and support experiential learning opportunities.
