About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager serves in both clinical and management roles. The position plans, organizes, and directs patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager assists with developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and departmental policies. The role also assists with personnel evaluation and discipline. Employees may be asked to perform other job-related duties beyond those described.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Two years of RN experience.
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
• BCLS/ACLS certification per the unit's standard.
• Certifications appropriate for the specific unit.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring quality improvement programs.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring staffing levels, goals, and objectives.
• Assist in monitoring regulatory compliance and departmental policies.
• Assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
