About The Position

The Victor School is a Massachusetts Approved Private Special Education Day School Program serving students between 6th - 12th grade. Located in Sudbury, MA the school serves students with average to superior cognitive abilities with social emotional disabilities. Our student’s learning is often complicated by social, emotional, or specific learning challenges. The Victor School is fully approved by DESE. The Victor School team works closely and collaboratively with families, students, and school systems to provide each student with challenging, college preparatory academics in a safe, nurturing environment. Our school serves students between 6th - 12th grade within a 12 month school year operating from July - June.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • LICSW or LMHC required.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing direct oversight and supervision of all clinicians and clinical services in tandem with the clinical director for family and group therapies and unique therapies provided including ARC, CBT, DBT and Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy modalities.
  • Work in tandem with the Clinical Director and Administrative team to provide a shared vision of the programmatic clinical services and to maintain positive relationships with outside agencies, families, and other involved parties.
  • Create a safe and therapeutic community by supporting students in developing and by role modeling effective coping strategies.
  • Help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop life skills such as cooking, banking, vocational skills, and more.
  • Support students in developing a sense of self and provide them the skills to be successful in their next steps.
