As our Assistant Clinical Director, you'll partner closely with the Clinical Director to make sure every youth in residential treatment receives thoughtful, effective, trauma‑informed care. You'll help shape treatment programming, support clinicians and direct care staff, and ensure our therapeutic approaches truly meet each young person's unique needs. Requirements

  • A master's degree in a Human Services field
  • Independent clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPP) with credentials to provide supervision
  • Supervisory experience (2+ years preferred) and clinical experience with children, adolescents, or families (3+ years)
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development, plus the ability to supervise staff and support youth with specialized needs
  • Solid management, program development, and evaluation skills
  • A valid driver's license and eligibility under the Maryhurst driving policy

Responsibilities

  • Implementing treatment programming - You'll help bring treatment plans to life within each milieu, making sure youth receive consistent, supportive interventions.
  • Reviewing clinical documentation - You'll assist with reviewing notes, assessments, case management documentation, and treatment plans to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Evaluating referrals - You'll work with the Admissions Department to determine whether incoming referrals are a good fit for the program.
  • Collaborating with Program Directors - You'll partner with leadership across cottages to make sure treatment services are fully and consistently implemented.
  • Developing treatment goals - You'll help shape individualized goals that support each youth's therapeutic journey.
