About The Position

This position will assist in managing the daily operations and staff of a medical clinic, ensuring quality requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of clinic administrative and operational best practices.

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Ability to communicate in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining a necessary degree of confidentiality and adapting styles to differing audiences.

  • Ability to work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative and to understand the implications of work.

  • Bachelor’s degree in health services administration, related field, or equivalent OR a combination of education and related work experience preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience, including experience in a medical setting.
  • Must provide proof of required vaccinations by federal, state, and local funding sources.
  • Employees driving personal vehicles for El Proyecto business must provide El Proyecto proof of a valid driving license, and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing clinic operations and productivity, ensuring flow efficiency.
  • Monitor clinic schedules, progress, and compliance with goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between front and back offices to better process patients.
  • Handle and resolve escalated issues, complaints, and grievances within established parameters.
  • Prepare for site and records audits.
  • Develop and foster positive working relationships with external community contacts and resources.
  • Assist in analyzing operational data to assess the need for procedural revisions and enhancements.
  • Participate in managing departmental performance reporting on metrics.
  • Recruit, manage, and review a team of professionals.
  • Set and allocate departmental budget.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
