About The Position

This non-exempt, full-time position is responsible for direct and indirect care of adult and pediatric patients under the direction of the physicians, Clinic Manager and Office Administrative Manager. We are looking for a positive, experienced, responsible individual to contribute depth & knowledge to our busy practice. Join the largest, private, allergy and asthma practice in the Rocky Mountain Region and enjoy a fast-paced, patient-focused, friendly and fun atmosphere. We have been treating adult and pediatric patients for nearly 54 years who suffer with allergies, asthma and immunology-related illnesses.

Requirements

Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant School or Licensed Medical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, hold a Biology Degree, or Combination of experience and education
Current CPR Certification
HepB vaccination

Responsibilities

Shows competency as a Medical Office Assistant
Shows competency in Clinic Assistant I and II Skill Modules within 120 days of employment; Clinic Assistant III Skill Modules within first year of employment
Shows competency in basic computer skills
Assures patient satisfaction by working as a team member with all personnel
Front Desk & Cross-Training duties, to include: Answering front desk phones, Check in/check out of patients, Scheduling appointments, Processing billing and insurance information, Showing compliance with insurance regulations
Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism and a high-level of motivation
Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel
Takes initiative and is a self-starter
Performs additional duties as deemed necessary
