Under general direction of the City Administrator, the Assistant City Administrator performs a variety of professional and technical administrative activities, providing professional assistance and support for administrative functions. Work performed includes complex, responsible, and confidential tasks, policy development, research and data analysis, special projects, and other related work, requiring a thorough knowledge of organizational procedures and precedents. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising good judgment and initiative. This position qualifies as emergency personnel as permitted Wis. Stat. Sec. 66.0502.
