About The Position
At Early Learning Academies (ELA), we are looking for passionate and qualified teachers who see teaching young children as more than a job and want to grow in their careers while making a lasting difference for children and families. We are seeking a Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have completed EDU 119 and have 3 additional semester hours of ECE coursework, or be currently enrolled to complete more. Previous experience in a childcare center is a plus. This role is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young children.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED
- EDU 119 and 12+ hours of ECE coursework (or currently enrolled and working toward it)
- Experience teaching young children
- A love for teaching young children and supporting their growth
- Ability to meet all state and federal childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Completed EDU 119 and have 3 additional semester hours of ECE coursework
- Currently enrolled to complete more ECE coursework
- Previous experience in a childcare center
