This role is for a current State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS) employee with seasoned experience in a combination of fiscal/administrative functions looking to tackle a new challenge. The Assistant Chief of Fiscal/Administrative Services will assist in the administration of the administrative programs and operations of the agency. This includes assisting in directing staff and operations of fiscal management functions such as budget preparation and management, accounting, and financial reporting and analysis. The role also involves coordinating, planning, and managing activities, formulating program goals and objectives, developing policy, reviewing fiscal and administrative operations for effectiveness and compliance, evaluating staff, and directing budget management functions. The position is based in Hartford at the DDS Central Office.
