About The Position
PAM Health is hiring an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) to direct nursing service activities at the assigned hospital. The role focuses on ensuring the safety of nursing units and the hospital, supporting appropriate staffing and nursing care, serving as a liaison between staff and administration, promoting staff productivity, and developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures in accordance with PAM Health policies and accreditation standards. The position is listed as full-time days at Ocoee Rehab. Requirements
- RN license in good standing in the state where the hospital is located.
- At least five years of clinical nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three years of experience in nursing management preferred.
- Certification in a specified field preferred, such as CNE, CRRN, CCRN, or PCCN.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the nursing unit(s) and hospital.
- Direct nursing service activities for the assigned hospital.
- Make recommendations for staff-to-patient ratios.
- Maintain a system to determine and provide adequate staffing for appropriate nursing care.
- Serve as a liaison between staff and administration.
- Promote staff productivity.
- Develop and implement nursing service policies and procedures in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
