About The Position
PAM Health is hiring an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) for Ocoee Rehab. The role directs nursing service activities for the assigned hospital and supports safe, appropriate nursing care through staffing oversight, staff productivity, communication with administration, and nursing policies and procedures. The ACNO works to ensure compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedures and applicable accreditation standards. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services across more than 80 locations, wound clinics, and outpatient physical therapy locations in 17 states. Its mission is to provide compassionate, expert care and support recovery through education and research. Requirements
- Current RN licensure in good standing in the state where the hospital is located.
- At least five years of clinical nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three years of nursing management experience preferred.
- Certification in a specified field preferred, such as CNE, CRRN, CCRN, or PCCN.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the nursing unit(s) and hospital.
- Direct nursing service activities for the assigned hospital.
- Make recommendations for staff-to-patient ratios and maintain a system to determine and provide adequate staffing for appropriate nursing care.
- Serve as a liaison between staff and administration.
- Promote staff productivity.
- Develop and implement nursing service policies and procedures in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
