About The Position
The Assistant Chief Engineer will help maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems. This role involves inspecting rooms and equipment, identifying issues, and assisting with repairs. The Assistant Chief Engineer will also help with preventive maintenance planning and tracking, ensure the team has necessary supplies and tools, and assist in scheduling the engineering team based on business needs. Adherence to and reporting on all safety procedures and equipment issues is crucial.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience
- Basic computer skills—you’ll use work order systems and company tools
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift
- Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
