Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited school of law and certificate of admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
  • Regulatory oversight experience.
  • Experience in legal research involving or pertaining to Commonwealth procurement, contract drafting, and research.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Completion of a Personal History Questionnaire with a thorough background investigation, including drug screening and the subsequent review and approval by the Board.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze procurement issues and review facts to support agency decisions
  • Examine legal documents and materials for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare memoranda, legal documents, and written materials for Board matters
  • Evaluate legal questions that range from routine to moderately complex
  • Communicate with officials and the public in a clear and respectful manner
