The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, results-oriented professional to serve as Assistant Chief Accountability Officer. Under administrative direction, this position will serve as second-in-command for the DCFS Grant Accountability and Transparency Section, providing technical assistance and oversight of unit activities to assist the Chief Accountability Officer in ensuring the Department’s compliance with 2 CFR 200, 30 ILCS 708 Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) and related federal and state rules and regulations. The position will serve as full line supervisor and review unit activities to ensure the Department’s state grant programs are compliant with GATA. Additionally, this position will manage pre-award and post-award activities, working closely with providers, grantees, and Department staff. This position provides an exciting opportunity for someone who is focused on ensuring the Department utilizes grant opportunities to ensure the best possible provision of services for children and families.
