About The Position
This is an extracurricular assignment for Assistant Cheerleading at Hurricane Middle School for the WVSSAC Designated Season of the 2026-27 school year. The salary range is detailed in the Putnam County Schools Extra Duty Handbook. The successful candidate will provide instruction, direction, and supervision to the cheerleading squad to develop their ability and skill for athletic contests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Passed the WVSSAC coaching courses
- Certification in CPR/AED
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction, direction, and supervision to the cheerleading squad.
- Develop the ability and skill of the cheerleading squad to perform in athletic contests.
- Fulfill responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools extra-duty handbook.
