About The Position

The Assistant Cheerleading Coach will work closely with student-athletes and school personnel to ensure that the cheerleading program fully serves the needs of the student-athletes, both in the classroom and on the field. Requirements

• Knowledge of educational athletics, particularly at the high school level.
• Previous and extensive cheerleading coaching experience at the high school level (or higher).
• Proven communicator, with skill in oral, written, and electronic communication.
• Appreciates the appropriate place of athletics, especially in the overall development of student-athletes.
• Aware of the role that bias and prejudice play in society.
• Creative and willing to try new approaches.
• Reflective about their daily practice.
• Welcomes a challenge.
• Eager to collaborate and contribute to the success of students.
