About The Position
Lake Forest College, located just north of Chicago, invites applications for the anticipated part-time stipend positions for Assistant Coaches in the following sport: Cheerleading and Dance. The role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking experience in a Division III collegiate coaching environment. The position requires a significant commitment to evening and weekend work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within the Forester athletic department, supporting the mission, goals, and procedures of both the department and the College.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience
Responsibilities
- Assisting the head coach with practice and game preparation
- Recruiting and developing student-athletes
- Preparing scouting reports
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Head Sport Coach
- Fostering a positive team environment
- Motivating student-athletes
