Assistant Center Director - Full Time Leadership Role
About The Position
At Mathnasium, the #1 math tutoring center (1,000+ locations), empower K-12 students to excel with personalized lessons and test prep. As Assistant Director, partner with our Center Director to build a high-energy team, drive student success, and hit center goals. This is a full-time leadership role where you will have the opportunity to lead and grow in math education. No management experience is required as we provide training to help you lead and advance quickly. You will impact lives by overseeing math tutoring that boosts confidence and skills, and grow your career with paid leadership training and a clear path to becoming a full Center Director. The role offers a supportive environment with full tools and resources provided, working approximately 30-35 hours per week over 5 days. This dynamic role involves managing curriculum, parents, and team performance.
Requirements
- Math skills through Algebra I (Geometry+ a plus)
- Full-time availability (M-Th, F/Sa flexible within 30–35 hrs)
- Passion for kids/teams; customer-focused leader
- Pass background check

Responsibilities
- Craft custom math plans, reassess students, and update parents (email/text)
- Handle inquiries and step in for seamless operations during Director absences
- Monitor floor quality, train tutors, and analyze reports for improvements
