Assistant Center Director
About The Position
At Early Learning Academies (ELA), we are seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our team as Assistant Center Directors. This role is ideal for those who view teaching young children as more than just a job and are dedicated to shaping the future. Excel Creative Early Learning is looking for a candidate with experience in a childcare center, a degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is preferred, and completion of EDU 119 and a minimum of 12 semester hours in ECE are required. Requirements
- At least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED
- EDU 119 and 12+ hours of ECE coursework (or currently enrolled and working toward it)
- Experience teaching young children
- A love for teaching young children and supporting their growth
- Ability to meet all state and federal childcare licensing requirements

Responsibilities
- Support the overall operations of the childcare center.
- Assist in managing staff and ensuring quality education for children.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal childcare licensing requirements.
- Contribute to a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Potentially move into Lead Teacher, Mentor, Assistant Director, and Center Director roles through internal promotion.
