About The Position
At Early Learning Academies (ELA), we are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Center Director. This role is for individuals who view teaching young children as more than just a job, but as an opportunity to shape the future. Requirements
- At least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED
- Completion of EDU 119 and a minimum of 12 semester hours in ECE coursework (or currently enrolled and working toward it)
- Experience teaching young children
- A love for teaching young children and supporting their growth
- Ability to meet all state and federal childcare licensing requirements
- Experience in a childcare center
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Responsibilities
- Support the overall operations of the childcare center.
- Assist in managing staff and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
- Potentially move into Lead Teacher, Mentor, Assistant Director, and Center Director roles as part of career growth.
