About The Position

Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels. This role involves assisting the kitchen with food and beverage preparation and presentation, operating the till, collaborating with the team, and adhering to hygiene and food handling standards.

Requirements

• Experience with customer service and basic food handling experience is desired
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude
• Being flexible to handle diverse tasks, from food prep to cleaning based on the needs at that time.
• Successfully completing the "I'm Alert in Food Safety" training program.

Nice To Haves

• Barista skills is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen to prepare and present basic food and beverages
• Provide friendly customer service
• Operate the till to take orders and process transactions
• Collaborating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
