About The Position
Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. This position involves assisting the kitchen with food and beverage preparation and presentation, providing friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment, operating the till for orders and transactions, collaborating with the team for smooth operations, and adhering to hygiene and food handling standards.
Requirements
- Experience with customer service and basic food handling experience is desired
- Some experience with coffee making is advantageous
- Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
- Strong organisational skills
- Excels in high-pressure environments
- Thrives in collaborative, small-team settings
- Possesses hands on experience with POS systems
- Friendly, customer-oriented attitude
- Being flexible to handle diverse tasks, from food prep to cleaning based on the needs at that time.
