About The Position

Assistant camp directors help camp sessions run smoothly by supporting staff, campers, and activities. They work closely with the director team to facilitate training, coordinate day-to-day activities, respond to camper and staff needs, schedule activities, and coach staff. They help set the tone and culture of camp by modeling a commitment to Christian Science, serving joyfully, communicating clearly, and responding thoughtfully to needs. The position is seasonal and located at A/U Ranches in Buena Vista, Colorado.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to Christian Science.
• At least 21 years old at the time of employment.
• Willingness to uphold high moral and ethical standards.
• Leadership experience in a role working closely with others.
• Enthusiasm for working with young people with love, patience, and consistency.
• Ability to flexibly support a variety of areas as needs arise.
• Ability to participate in outdoor adventure and recreational activities.
• Ability and willingness to live in a cabin with other staff when needed.

Nice To Haves

• College graduate preferred.
