About The Position

This role involves supervising daily operations and personnel within the Cage and Cashier departments during assigned shifts. The Assistant Cage Supervisor is responsible for fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and gaming regulations, and safeguarding company assets while maintaining efficient and courteous service. The position also includes monitoring Cage activities, authorizing credit transactions, overseeing banking functions, ensuring exceptional guest service, managing staff schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and participating in the recruitment process. The role requires serving as a role model by upholding company values and professional conduct, maintaining consistent attendance, and complying with all company and regulatory policies. Additional duties may be assigned by the Cage Manager.

Requirements

  • Supervise daily operations and personnel within the Cage and Cashier departments during assigned shifts.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and collaboration across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, and other applicable governmental guidelines.
  • Safeguard company assets while maintaining efficient and courteous service in alignment with service standards.
  • Monitor Cage activities to ensure adherence to operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Authorize credit transactions within established limits.
  • Oversee banking functions including check and marker processing, and currency purchases.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve customer disputes professionally.
  • Prepare and manage staff schedules to meet business needs and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development.
  • Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process for Cashier positions.
  • Serve as a role model by upholding company values and encouraging professional conduct.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and compliance with all company and regulatory policies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members and foster a team-oriented environment.
