Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong business math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to timely, accurate completion in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships
• Physical ability to stand, walk, speak, hear, sit, use hands or fingers for data entry, and lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assisting in buying and maintaining inventory to meet department and company goals.
• Monitoring daily purchasing reports, including Daily Fill Rate, Open Backorders, Stock Inventory On-Hand, and other key metrics.
• Compiling monthly reporting for Buyers and Senior Buyers.
• Proactively following up with internal and external teams to resolve issues such as delinquent orders or backorders.
• Placing purchase orders while reviewing sales cost accuracy, freight, and other charges.
• Reviewing strategic substitutions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communicating and working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
• Managing multiple vendor lines.
• Supporting other duties as assigned.
