Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) (Pending MA-C applications may be considered if certification will be active by hire date)
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a clinical setting
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Responsibilities

  • Rooming patients and helping them feel comfortable before their visit
  • Taking vital signs and gathering basic patient history
  • Assisting with exams and procedures alongside providers
  • Learning to administer immunizations and medications (with supervision and certification)
  • Supporting basic lab work, phlebotomy, and diagnostic testing (with training and certification)
  • Helping keep exam rooms organized, stocked, and clean
  • Supporting scheduling, phone calls, and electronic health record documentation
  • Working closely with your care team to ensure smooth patient flow
