About The Position

The Assistant Buyer supports QVC or HSN in identifying and negotiating products, prices, and terms to deliver sales results across multiple platforms. This role involves orchestrating product negotiations, developing new concepts, and driving sales across all platforms. With a keen eye for spotting trends, the Assistant Buyer will translate customer insights into new products and shows that resonate with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent superhero-level business experience in corporate buying)
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in related fields
• Understanding of Retail Math strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Translate product and customer trends into actionable ideas, concepts, products, and shows that appeal to QVC customers
• Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
• Maintain robust communication with vendors and cross-functional teams, strengthening internal and external relationships
• Take lead in the office during the Buyer I's absence
