Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 to 5 years of related financial institution experience.
- Solid understanding of teller, member service, and loan officer functions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable with computer applications and everyday office equipment.
- Natural leadership qualities and initiative.

- Additional coursework is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure branch operations comply with policy, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of credit union products and services to meet member needs through cross-selling.
- Oversee branch security, including responding to alarms and managing opening/closing procedures.
- Balance all branch transactions daily.
- Implement policy and procedure changes at the branch level.
- Handle loan processing and closings, certificates of deposit, IRAs, HSAs, and new accounts.
- Provide direction and supervision to branch staff, and act as Branch Manager when necessary.
- Onboard and train new employees, and cross-train existing staff.
- Assist in determining staffing levels and creating schedules.
- Resolve member requests and questions promptly or escalate them appropriately.
- Keep management informed of branch activities and suggest service improvements.
- Complete required reports accurately and on time.
