About The Position

Robbinsdale Cooper High School is seeking an Assistant Boys Soccer Coach for the season running from August through November. The role involves fostering an attitude of fair play, adhering to the Minnesota State High School League "Code of Ethics," and carrying out the responsibilities of an assistant coach. The coach will be expected to attend all contests and practice sessions, instruct student-athletes on rules and developments in soccer, and possess a thorough understanding of the Minnesota State High School League's rules and regulations. Additionally, the coach must align with the educational and athletic philosophy of Robbinsdale Area Schools and follow all district rules and regulations.

Requirements

• College degree.
• Coaching certification.
• Knowledge of sport.

• Coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate an attitude of fair play for adhering to the Minnesota State High School League "Code of Ethics."
• Carry out responsibilities of an assistant coach.
• Be in regular attendance at all contest and practice sessions.
• Instruct student/athlete in rules, rule changes, new developments and innovative ideas in coaching.
• Have understanding knowledge of rules and regulations as presented by the Minnesota State High School League.
• Adhere to the educational and athletic philosophy and objectives of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
• Follow rules and regulations of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
