About The Position
This position is for an Extracurricular Assignment as Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Buffalo High School for the WVSSAC Designated Season of the 2026-27 school year. The coach provides instruction, direction, and supervision to athletic teams to develop their ability or skill to perform in athletic contests. Responsibilities and duties are outlined in the Putnam County Schools extra-duty handbook.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Passed the WVSSAC coaching courses
- Certification in CPR/AED
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction, direction, and supervision to athletic teams for the purpose of developing ability or skill to perform in athletic contests.
- Fulfill responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools extra-duty handbook.
