About The Position
Anticipated Vacancy for Two (2) Two Basketball Assistant (Boys) Coaches for School Year 2026-27.
Requirements
- All required clearances, physical and TB test, and District requirements must be completed before employment.
Responsibilities
- Teach fundamental basketball skills, proper shooting or defensive mechanics, and positional play.
- Collaborate with the head coach to create and implement daily practice schedules.
- Analyze game film and break down video footage to prepare scouting reports and tactical adjustments.
- Collaborate with the head coach on in-game strategy.
- Work with the Junior Varsity team at practices and games.
- Supervise players before, during, and after games and practice sessions.
- Travel with team to away games and scrimmages.
- Model and promote good sportsmanship.
- Must be available nights and weekends during the season.
- Complete all required PIAA coaching courses.
