About The Position
The Assistant Boys Basketball Coach will support the head coach in all aspects of the boys' basketball program. This role requires extensive knowledge of basketball rules and skills, a program-centered approach, and the ability to work well with children. The coach must exhibit good sportsmanship and be knowledgeable of VHSL rules.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in the sport.
- Program centered.
- Specific skills and exhibits good sportsmanship.
- Knowledge of VHSL rules.
- Works well with children.
- Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
- Submit a standard on-line application.
- Include two letters of reference.
- Include a recent TB test or screening.
