This position is for an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at East High School. Requirements
- Current Resume
- CHSAA Online Coaches Test (Current Year)
- NFHS Concussion Certificate (or an in-person concussion course completion certificate)
- 1st Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Current)
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of hire
- If not a current teacher: Registration for a CHSAA one-year coaching registration and/or permanent coaching registration is required upon acceptance of a high school coaching vacancy.
Nice To Haves
- Previous coaching experience and/or successful participation in athletics at the high school or collegiate level
- Previous playing experience in the sport of Basketball.
Responsibilities
- Coaching basketball at the high school level.
- Ensuring all CHSAA related requirements and coaching registration information are completed and verified.
- Adhering to the district's core values, including student success, collaboration, integrity, diversity, equity, dignity, respect, social and emotional well-being, and providing a safe, positive, and supportive environment.
