Part-Time Assistant Baseball Coach
About The Position
New York Empire Baseball is looking to add Part-Time coaches to our Fall Baseball programs! The role of Assistant Baseball Coach is to be a part of our programming with our Coaches and Instructors who have the most important responsibilities in our Organization - to inform, instruct, inspire, prepare and motivate our young ballplayers on-the-field. New York Empire Baseball is a unique & special place to coach, instruct, train and play. We’re a baseball organization that focuses on training, preparing, motivating and inspiring young ball players. We have a very special culture, and a reputation that we build and protect everyday.
Requirements
- A strong understanding and passion for the game of baseball
- A genuine passion for and experience in instruction, training, and development
- An exceptional ability to communicate positively with young athletes
- Positive energy, intellectual curiosity, an open mind, and a high level of self motivation
- An understanding that long term success is built through hard work and a focus on great process
- Weekend availability in Fall 2026
- Ability to Commute

Responsibilities
- Training, coaching and inspiring our players in every interaction on-and off-the-field
- Communicating with our players and families during and between seasons to continue to help in each player’s development
- Learning our methods, models and technology for teaching and training ballplayers and continuing to develop and update your coaching and instruction skills
- Maintaining baseball training equipment and a safe environment for our staff and our players and their families
