About The Position

Monticello High School is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach (JV) to join their team. The role involves developing student-athletes, organizing practice schedules, and fostering teamwork and good sportsmanship. The position requires knowledge of VHSL rules and regulations, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and the community. The coach will be responsible for instructing student-athletes, traveling to matches, and interacting with coaches, administrators, parents, and the media.

Requirements

Knowledge of VHSL rules and regulations
Ability to develop and train AA student-athletes
Personal skills that reflect positive relations with high school student-athletes, parents and the community
Extensive knowledge of the principles of individual and team fundamentals of the listed sports
Ability to organize and prepare practice schedules
Ability to develop a solid discipline that emphasizes team work and good sportsmanship
Previous coaching experience is required
