As a Assistant Banking Center Manager (ABCM), you will be responsible for daily operations of the banking center as well as provide support to a team of sales and services professionals to meet and exceed sales goals and provide valuable service to clients. This position is also responsible for a variety of duties including, but not limited to deposit accounts, cash request, fund transfers, wire transfers, and reporting. ABCM will be focused on the development of new business, as well as retaining and expanding our current relationships with customers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Retail, Commercial, or Private Banking and a work history that reflects a solid record of accomplishment of building and administering relationships in this environment.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and character, excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a strong network of professionals, successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives.
  • A minimum of three years' of experience as a Personal Banker, Senior Teller or Teller Operations Supervisor.
  • Minimum of two years successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment is preferred; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Supervisory abilities, including: leadership skills, sound decision making, the ability to motivate others, and the capability to address conflict in a positive and productive manner.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
  • Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank’s expense

  • Extensive knowledge and familiarity of banking products and services is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on a full range of banking services using in-depth knowledge to articulate how our products and services can support their needs
  • Provide support by processing client transactions according to Bank policies; preparing daily work, bank deposits, ATM and Night Depository, and filing bank records
  • Provide support to staff (i.e. answering questions, coaching, providing encouragement, feedback, and constructive criticism as needed)
  • Perform required steps to process loan applications and customer originated financial transactions, open new accounts and sell banking products and services
  • Ensure the audit/compliance procedures of the center are followed, while maintaining the highest level of customer service
  • Ensure completion of regulatory compliance and training specific to sales and service responsibilities for you and your associates
  • Ensure that security measures are adhered to regarding opening and closing procedures within the bank
  • Regularly communicate with clients to conduct needs analysis to identify potential areas for improvement or new opportunities to better align their banking services to their evolving financial needs.
  • Utilize various channels, such as networking events, referrals, & online platforms to expand outreach.
  • Establish centers of influence for referrals in our target markets.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to current and potential clients to exceed client expectations.
  • Minimize organizational risk by adhering to all applicable federal and state laws and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, department policies, and regulatory banking requirements.
