The Assistant Banking Center Manager ensures branch policies and procedures are followed, executes retail banking initiatives through consultative relationship management, and advocates for digital product adoption. Responsibilities include originating and maintaining deposit accounts (retail, digital, small business), identifying and originating consumer lending opportunities, making product referrals, and actively participating in a team environment to promote the bank within the market. The role also involves risk management, maintaining compliance awareness, and delivering a high level of service. Additionally, the position includes managing staff, which involves interviewing and selecting candidates, setting goals, providing training and development, conducting performance reviews, and approving timecards for direct reports. Periodic evening or weekend community/networking events may be required.
